Wow, have you seen the video of Alexis Normand butchering the National Anthem at Saturday’s Portland Winterhawks-Halifax Mooseheads game? It is down right embarrassing and we have the video here.

In today’s classroom, you never know who is recording what’s being said and done. Mostly it’s fights that make Youtube, but occasionally it’s the tense moments between teachers and students that make headlines. That’s the case when it comes to the Jeff Bliss video, which was shot in a Texas high school.

Let’s begin by saying that the education system in Texas is a disaster. They allow faith based groups to influence their science curricula, their high stakes testing model has been proven to disproportionately fail minority students, and they resist national trends to find other ways to assess students.

As far as first days on the job go, this one is somewhere below the basement. This guy A.J. Clemente (video below) was awkward, he cursed on the air, and he didn’t even hold his head up when the cameras began to roll.

Nothing is better than when a stereotype comes true. In this case, Olympian Ryan Lochte’s Good Day Philly video does exactly that. He comes off as dumb as a box of rocks, and it’s pretty funny.

Things got really scary the other night for Hawks Cheerleader Kristen Hardy. Video of her smacking her forehead directly on the court during a game is pretty hard to watch, but that hasn’t stopped thousands from trying to catch a glimpse of it online. Yes, we have it for you.

We all know the Super Bowl is the biggest sporting event of the season and in 2013, Beyonce’s halftime show will be the thing to watch. This year the game takes place in the Big Easy-New Orleans and the game will be nothing compared to the show being put on by organizers, which promises to be bigger and better than ever.

Super Bowl XLVIIL (that’s 47) is taking place at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, a first for the city of New Orleans after the devastation it suffered in the aftermath of hurricane Katrina in 2005.

Jodi Foster has come out – officially. At the Golden Globe she gave a beautiful speech and let the ladies know she is singe. She also thanked her ex- partner, Cydney Bernard. So did you know Jodi was gay?
