Hyon Song-wol is the woman making headlines as it has been revealed that she is having an affair with Kin Jong-un. The two were close friends for a long time, dating back to their teenage years. But when things looked like they were getting serious and it was time for Kim Jong-un to become the heir-apparent to his father, Kim Jong-il, it was demanded that he sever all ties with Hyon.
“The two have known each other since they were in their teens and rumors about the two having an affair have been circulating among Pyongyang’s top elite,” a South Korean intelligence official told the JoongAng Daily in Seoul.
