Our hearts go out to Jenni Rivera’s children, her ex-husbands and family as they struggle with the grief of loosing the popular Mexican songstress. The manly loves of her life and five kids are grieving now, not as fans like you and I but as family members who have lost a cherished loved one in the prime of her life. The United States, and indeed the world, has lost one of the great heroes of the last two generations. Carol Held Knight (photos below) survives humanity’s first man to walk on the moon, as do two of his three children and first wife Janet Elizabeth Shearon, known to family and friends as Jan Armstrong. Neil Armstrong’s wife Carol was married to the astronaut for the last eighteen years of his storied life after he divorced his first wife Janet in 1994 after almost 40 years of marriage.
Another sad story from the world of music, as the world learned that a pop icon will no longer be with us. Robin Gibb’s wife survives him, Dwina Murphy-Gibb (photos below), reportedly a former porn star, as do his four children and past loves including ex-wife Molly Hullis and the housekeeper Claire Yang with whom he reportedly had an affair.
Something feels creepy around Camelot today. We know that her famous husband returned to the barn where she hung herself, confirmed by the autopsy results today, and now we learn that Mary Kennedy’s children (photos below) may have been embroiled in a custody dispute with RFK Jr during their divorce proceedings. We’ll tell you about her children in a minute. But first let’s say that the image getting painted unfairly in the media is that he drove her to suicide, and that is not a legacy that any Kennedy needs hanging around whether or not there is a grain of truth in it.
