After the huge move of leaving Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes is not wasting any time getting back to her old religion. It will be a huge change from the world of Scientology for sure.
It has been five years since she started “studying” Scientology, but now that she is single again, she has chosen to return to Jesus and the Catholic church. In fact, reports state that she joined Church of St. Francis Xavier in New York City.
Even though it’s a Catholic church, it’s been reported that they are more open to things than some other ones, including letting gay people attend services and be members. That’s pretty surprising to me.
Here is what the church had to say about Katie joining them:
“Everyone is thrilled to have Katie join us…She has not yet attended a service, but when she does she will be welcomed with open arms.”
