It wasn’t just baby Jesus who was born on Christmas. Nope. In fact, Leanne Carter gave birth to a surprise son also — because she says she didn’t even know she was pregnant! Read on, if you can.
Yes, people. There are women in this world who manage to conceive and carry babies to full term without even knowing it. This Leanne chick is one of them.
According to the new mom, she didn’t have any of the “physical signs” of being pregnant.
So you mean like the feeling that you want to throw up all day. Or the feeling that you want to sleep for a month. Or even the feeling that you have to pull all of your furniture into the front yard, clean the house for the entire day, then drag it all back in to be rearranged in different places? Those kinds of “physical signs???”
I have come to the conclusion that the only people who can be pregnant without knowing it must be crazy or have lose bowels. The cramping and stomach issues alone have to be a giveaway.
Anyway, this girl showed up at the hospital complaining of bad stomach cramps. Then here is what happened:
“When I was there I went to the toilet and just felt the need to push. My mum had to go and get the staff and they asked if I was pregnant…They wheeled me in and the first time I realised I was pregnant was when they gave me the gas and air as I was pushing…I was shocked, then scared and worried and I didn’t know if he was OK but then I was happy.”
Shocked? She was shocked? Shocked is when you think you are out of coffee creamer, then find a whole new one in the fridge. It isn’t the word you use for having a friggin’ baby without even knowing you were pregnant!
Anyway, the baby was born pretty small at about 4 pounds, and the docs think he is about two weeks early. But everything else has check out health wise, and doctors think the baby will grow just fine.
