Meet Stacie Halas, as her students know her. But she has a dirty secret – or she did until she was outed! Once going by the name of Tiffany Six, she starred in hard core porn films which can easily be found on the internet. Or by students searching for dirt on their teacher. I’m just sayin!

So if you do some digging, like a simple name search for Stacie Halas, you will come across a ton of results that show her porn past. She starred in some pretty hard core stuff, but what does that have to do with her teaching? Nothing really. While she may have had a career that most disapprove of, she never taught during the same time period. She was in need of money and turned to porn to help make ends meet.

Her lawyer, Richard Schwab argued her employment in the porn industry is legal and she was done with the X-rated business when she started her job as a seventh- and eighth-grade teacher. But she did lie on her application, leaving it off of her job history, yet citing Subway and other employment.

“Miss Halas is more than just an individual fighting for her job as a teacher,” he said Tuesday. “I think she’s representative of a lot of people who may have a past that may not involve anything illegal or anything that hurts anybody.”

She was fired, as I am sure parents were outraged by their child’s teacher having a porn past and made a big deal. She fought for her job, but lost, and today her appeal was also denied.

“Although (Halas’) pornography career has concluded, the ongoing availability of her pornographic materials on the Internet will continue to impede her from being an effective teacher and respected colleague,” Judge Julie Cabos-Owen wrote in a 46-page decision issued Friday by the Commission on Professional Competence.

District superintendent Jeff Chancer applauded the commission’s ruling.

Halas’ decision to “engage in pornography was incompatible with her responsibilities as a role model for students and would present an insurmountable, recurring disruption to our schools should she be allowed to remain as a teacher.”

While Stacie may not have a job teaching kids, I think she picked up a bigger fan base for her other job. She may have some new doors open!
