Jennifer Aniston’s Smartwater commercial (video below) is probably the funniest thing she has done since Horrible Bosses. She expertly pokes fun at just about every ridiculous rumor and tabloid dart that has been thrown at her over the past few years.
This one is worth watching.
Ryan Seacrest kicks things off with a very believable stand up. He informs us that some security footage has been leaked from “inside the actresses home,” that includes some “shocking revelations.”
If you follow any of the tabs, whether online or in print, you know that they just can’t leave her alone. It’s almost like they are bitter of Friends ending or something. She’s been pregnant multiple times, she works out eight days a week, and she is an arrogant, full-of-herself kind of person.
All of those items are satirized in the video.
It begins with her jumping into a what looks like a Mercedes sports car. Her assistant is handing her something. She accidentally calls her by the wrong them, then acts like she doesn’t car. She goes screeching back and crashes.
No matter. She just needs to go in for her Smartwater.
From there we cut to her kitchen, where she seems to be coming in from an exhausting day. She pulls up her shirt, loosens up a waist band, then out pops a huge baby belly. That’s right, she’s been hiding triplets under there all along.
Of course the Smartwater is what they need to stay hydrated.
Other highlights include her “training session,” which shows her being picked up and down by a group of trainers while she lounges in their arms. Then there’s the scene where her “real hair” is revealed. She has a curly little poof on op of her head, and is seen rifling through a bunch of wigs.
