This story is another example of how the internet and especially social media empower all voices to be heard equally. Meet Jenn Baluch (photos below), the cute teenager girl who has a crush on NFL superboy, Tim Tebow. She wants a date with him for her 20th birthday and is letting the entire world know as she desperately hopes to get his attention.

You can find the Facebook page effort over here which has received the fair share of scorn which you would expect from such an advertised goal. That is not deterring the young lady from her effort and even pushing back at her critics. “IF YOU ARE GOING TO HATE THEN LEAVE 
… I love Tim Tebow and would like a date with him for my birthday! help me out! lets see if this actually can work! INVITE EVERYONE and all you have to do is click attending!”
Jenn’s regular Facebook page is this one where she uses her full name as Jennifer Baluch. There you will find a whole lot of pictures of Tim Tebow, but not very much about her biography. She lives in Chandler, Arizona where she still attends college and works at a local Starbucks coffee shop.
Her Twitter page is here where she reveals something in common with the star quarterback: God always prevails. And you will find plenty more of #15 there too. By the way Jenn’s birthday is May 1st, so she has plenty of time to get his attention. And with her sandy blonde hair and gorgeous green eyes she just might do it! Read more about her efforts here.
One website is definitely not impressed with her efforts, namely our good friends at Busted Coverage over here. But in heaping scorn at her effort they only helped to further publicize it.
Now for the big reader question. Would you go out with a women who started a Facebook campaign to get your attention which included a bunch of photos of yourself and fan reactions?
