Like any normal teenager Alexa Dell is addicted to Twitter, talking about her life, where she is at the moment, her family, you know normal stuff. However there is one issue with her Twitter addiction, her daddy is Michael Dell CEO of the infamous computer company and her Tweets were causing major security issues for the family.
16- year old Alexa would go about her day using social media sites like Twitter and Facebook to talk about what was going on in her life. From documenting her family’s every move on a trip to New York City to Tweeting a pic of her high school graduation dinner invitation, Dell was more than happy to share her life with all those in cyber world. She wasn’t doing anything different than what millions of people do on a daily basis, which is documenting their lives online.
Here is the difference between me and Alexa sharing our lives with the world. My dad doesn’t spend 2.7 million dollars a year to keep my family safe but Alexa’s does. Oh and my dad isn’t worth 15.9 billion dollars nor is he 41st on the infamous Forbes list, her dad is. According to the Daily Mail someone on Michael’s security team alerted him what his daughter was doing. As of last Friday Alexa’s Twitter account had been closed. It makes me feel kind of sad for her because she was just being a kid. It just goes to show that being a child of a famous person or in this case mega rick geek has a whole different set of concerns.
Twitter happy Alexa Dell will no longer be Tweeting about her family, for now anyway. Maybe in the future she will be able to participate in social media without driving her father’s security team crazy trying to protect her and the rest of the Dell family.
