Rob is looking to back to a former lover for tips in dealing with this dramatic break-up. Her name? Nina Schubert, who was actually Robert Pattinson’s girlfriend at one time.
Now the world spotlight is on Nina, the girl people are starting to think might be making a move on the heart-broken actor. Hey, wouldn’t you?
It all started when people found out that he reached out to her for “advice” following the embarrassing cheating scandal.
Here’s what a source had to say about it:
“Rob and Nina grew up together… She was Rob’s first serious girlfriend. It only didn’t work out between them because he had to move to LA for work. She’s been there for him more than anyone else these past few weeks…Nina’s told him he shouldn’t make any hasty decisions now and he should take all the time he needs.”
The source goes on to say that Rob sometimes calls her late at night to talk things out. I’m wondering if he is drunk-dialing her after some of these outings his friends have been taking him on. You know, the ones where they try to help him drink away his problems.
So after reading that, I did some digging.
It turns out that it’s true, they were neighborhood friends who literally grew up around the corner from each other. Nina ended up becoming a model and got very busy, and after a three year relationship — and even living together — they decided to part ways. Rob moved to the states to work, and Nina began a professional modeling career that took her to magazine covers, catwalks, and big time catalogue shoots.
Oh, and she is apparently pretty good at painting. At one point that is how she paid her bills. Back in 2009, she described Rob as “…still a really good friend of mine.” I bet a good friend like that would tell him to stay away from Stewart and her drama.
So far word has it that all Kristen wants is a chance to speak to Rob and “explain herself.” What is there to explain anyway?
I guess he is trying to figure out what to do next. I don’t think the decision is very difficult. He is young, rich, and super-famous. His whole life is in front of him. I vote for a single and ready to mingle Rob.
