Stanley Tucci is officially a married man. It has been confirmed that he wed girlfriend Felicity Blunt in a very private ceremony.
The news that Felicity and Stanley secretly tied the knot was shared when they attended a screening of Hope Springs, which just so happens to star his pal Meryl Streep. The actor was spotted wearing a wedding ring, which then of course led to a number of questions. According to many reports she was wearing double bands on her ring finger and he was wearing a special band on his ring finger. Details of the nuptials are being kept between the newlyweds but word on the street is there will be another ceremony for family and friend soons. The couple of a little over 2 years got engaged last November
I am sure many of you are wondering if Felicity is the sister of actress Emily Blunt and the answer is yes. In fact it is thanks to her famous younger sister that Felicity met and fell in love with Tucci. If you recall Emily co-starred with Stanley in The Devil Wears Prada and she later introduced the two. The older Blunt is a literally agent who is based out of London. Stanley’s wife has two other siblings’ brother Sebastian and sister Suzanna. Interesting note, Blunt actually started out to be a lawyer but her love for literature and the literary world ended up pushing her to become a literary agent. Pretty cool and quite the change if you ask me.
This is the first marriage for Blunt and the second for Tucci. He lost his wife Kate to breast cancer in 2009. Along with now taking on the role of wife Felicity will also take on the role of stepmother to Stanley’s three children.
A big congtats go out to Felicity Blunt and Stanely Tucci who got hitched recently. It was a super secret wedding for the very private couple. I have to say after all the heartache he went through it is nice to see some happiness in Tucci’s life.
