Her friends and family want to know what happened to this gorgeous Latina New York actress. Mabel Pantaleon (photos below) went missing on July 22nd, 2012, and has not been seen since. Her family and friends want to know that she is safe, and if not what has happened to her.

She is reportedly known to suffer from manic depression so it is possible that she has gone missing on her own volition. Just before she went missing, Mabel reportedly accused her own family of being terrorists and said her mother was not really her mom. She is reportedly on medication for mental problems. All police know about her disappearance is that she was last seen outside her Manhattan New York apparently on Sunday morning this week. Everyone wants to know where she is now.
Biography: Mabel Pantaleon was born October 25th, 1981 in New York City where she has essentially remained her entire life. She will turn 31 years old this year, and seemed soon to reach her peak as an acting professional. Her filmography includes seven TV appearances already including parts on Dexter, The Gleam, and Secretos, the latter of which was on Spanish television. She has played in a couple of movies also, one of which called Double Down is depicted in the video trailer below.
She does not do regular modeling so her basic vital statistics including measurements are unknown to us. Police have described her as standing 5’7″ tall with gorgeous dark brown hair and brown eyes. She is listed at 165 pounds but that weight may be a typo on the reporting.
Mabel does not appear to have a Facebook page or MySpace page, but she does have a Twitter page we are trying to confirm. She apparently lived previously in New Jersey and was a former beauty queen who finished second in the Miss Latina New York beauty pageant in 2003.
She had reportedly given up a career in nursing to become an actress, a huge step that would be fanciful for most women but she had the drive in her to succeed. And succeed she has, not wildly by any stretch of the imagination, but she acted in several television series and a few movies and that is more than most starry eyed aspiring actresses will accomplish in a lifetime.
She had moved to California to pursue her dream for a while, and then returned to the New York City College of Technology where she studied acting.
We hope that Miss Pantaleon is found safe and sound. We understand that she has no boyfriend who might be a suspect. Her mother Sylvia Pantaleon told a local ABC affiliate , “Everything is over, thank God. She’s OK, and she is in the hospital.”

Update July 27th, 2012: Mabel has been found safe and sound at JFK airport in New York City. She was reportedly taken in for psychiatric observation at a local hospital.
