Who is the woman that gave birth to the man responsible for the biggest massacre in the history of our country? Was there something she did while he was growing up that would cause him to be a psycho?

Well, the only thing we knew about her after it happened is that she was quoted over and over again in the news.

The one thing that everyone used from her was that she had no idea the slayings even occurred until a news reporter called her up. After that, the biggest quote of the whole story was taken from her when she supposedly said: “you have the right person.”

That could mean a lot of things, and now some news companies are backing away from that quote. The person that she said was the “right person” was HER not even her son.

Here is what Arlene Holmes had to say about it:

“I did not know anything about a shooting in Aurora at that time. He asked if I was Arlene Holmes and if my son was James Holmes who lives in Aurora, Colorado. I answered, ‘Yes, you have the right person.’ I was referring to myself.

I asked him to tell me why he was calling. He told me, ‘About a shooting in Aurora.’ He asked for a comment. I told him I could not comment because I did not know that the person he was talking about was my son and I would need to find out.”

I guess the point is that if someone told her a college kid shot up a bunch of people in a theater and she thought right away that it was her son, then she would be basically admitting that he is a killer.

I think people were just so quick to judge her that they were going to take any quote they could to make him seem crazy.

Based on pictures of her sitting in court with her son, she looks like a normal lady. Her son is in his twenties, and it’s hard for me to tell how long he has been away from home. I guess it would be different if he lived with her at the time. Then you would have to question what was going on.

But in this case, she just seems so surprised to see her son being charged with first degree murder.

I’m surprised that she is so together. I would be a balling mess, crying and sniffling on the floor if something like that happened to me or anyone in my family. In the court videos she sits right next to her son while he looks deranged, and she just stares ahead at the judge.
