Jonna Walsh, Lee DeWyze’s wife is making a splash online after the got married this weekend. DeWyze was the winner of American Idol back in 2010, and has not wasted any time getting hitched!
It sounds like they are a real match for each other. This was no stuffy ceremony inside a church. The Idol champ told PEOPLE Magazine:
“It was really our style of wedding…Outdoors with chandeliers.”
And of course there was music involved. Lee apparently wrote a song just for the occasion:
“It’s called ‘Who Would Have Known…It’s a personal song that will be on my next album.”
The two love birds walked down the aisle to the song. I guess “Here Comes The Bride” is just not hip enough anymore. I personally love that song because it automatically makes everyone look to the beginning of the aisle for the bride, and it’s very emotional.
Now people have to be curious about who this girl is. Jonna Walsh is an actress, she has been in a number of things that I have never heard of.
The most recent one is called “Skylar,” where she played a character named Lindsay. It actually sounds pretty racy. IMDB says the main character is fighting “sexual addiction” to save a relationship with the love of his life named Stephanie (not played by Jonna). I guess he goes through some counseling and finally makes it through the problem. I’m guessing Walsh plays one of the women he is tempted by, but it’s hard to tell.
If you check out her Twitter, she describes herself in three ways: “Actress. Believer. Cotton Candy Lover.” Her location is “la la land.”
About ten hours ago she Tweeted simply: “I’m a wife.”
Her famous hubby also Tweeted about their marriage, saying: “Beautiful wedding, beautiful girl, just beautiful 
WERE MARRIED!”
Sounds like they are beaming like most newlyweds.
Even during such a busy, crazy time, she took a moment to offer up some words of sympathy for the Colorado Massacre victims: “My entire heart goes out to those in Colorado suffering from this horrible tragedy. 
”
Sounds like these two are going to work out. I’ll be it’s nice to have someone who can sing as a husband. They are both about equal when it comes to fame. I think DeWyze is of course in the spotlight for American Idol, but he is not HUGE. She is obviously working her way up as an actress, but has yet to hit any breakthrough moments.
