The sedate world of golf got a cultural shock this week when golfer Kris Blanks tweeted about having sex with his wife. Tami Blanks (photos below) was the recipient of his sexcapade tweet, and our guess is she was none too pleased about it given that the tweet has since been deleted.

What made the Tiger Woods affairs so shocking in the public’s eye is that it happened to a star athlete in a sport known more for martinis rather than beer, for Cadillacs rather than Ferraris. We expect lewd behavior from our basketball homeys and football lugs, but in golf we expect our athletes to be saintly public virgins.
So enter Kris Blanks’ wife into the picture thanks to his most interesting Twitter account which you can find over here. The offending tweet is reproduced below.
“Hey golf Gods think of this. I get the last laugh. I get to hang out with my kids all weekend and get to have sex with my wifes so …. GFY!”
As mentioned it isn’t there anymore but that didn’t stop the naughty golfer from a follow up since he just could not let sleeping dogs (or is it angry wives) lie. He practically retweeted the same thing by saying “In a ironic and funny twist, wife got wind of me tweeting about having sex with her and now that’s out also. Looks like golf gods win again!!”
Originally born Tami Dougan, Tami Blanks is a golfer herself who lists her profession as an “independent sports professional” on her Linkedin page you can find here. You can find her Facebook page here which is very mommy-ish, missing all the hot wag pics we are accustomed to seeing as the wife of a sports celebrity. How refreshing! This is golf, after all.
She graduated from high school in Surrey, British Columbia, and then went on to be a college star for the Ohio State Buckeyes women’s golf team where she graduated in 1993. On tour as Tami Dougan, Mrs. Blanks played at the U.S. Women’s Open in 1994.
Tami now apparently works now as a club pro for the Wild Wing Plantation golf course in Conway, South Carolina. She has a Twitter account but doesn’t use it. Her husband doesn’t even follow her so we won’t be linking it if he won’t!
The couple has two cute little boys, which is evidence that they have indeed enjoyed sex at least twice in their lives. They met at a golf tournament in Florida in the mid-1990s, and as they say it was love at first sight and for Tami Blanks we now know it is also sex at last sight.
