Sage Stallone is Sylvester Stallone’s son. He was found dead in his Los Angeles home today. Get the details along with a biography, photos and video here.

Today when friends went to check on Sage he did not answer his door. They became concerned because it had been a few days since hearing from him. Police revealed that they did a welfare check and Sage was found dead. TMZ is reporting that he died from an apparent drug overdose. They are still trying to determine if it was accidental or a suicide. RadarOnline is reporting that it looks to be an accidental death as there were several prescription bottles found at the scene but no suicide note.

As for a biography, Sage Moonblood Stallone is the son of Sylvester Stallone and his first wife, Sasha Czack. He was born on May 5, 1976 making him 26 years old. he was an aspiring film maker and had appeared in several films with his father while growing up. His relationship with his father started off strained, as when Sylvester split from his wife, he and Sage drifted apart. But they were able to rebuild their relationship while working on films together. Sage played Sylvesters son, Rocky Balboa Jr, in Rocky V and again in the film “Daylight.”

In 1996 Sage spoke to People magazine about his relationship with his father saying,

‘When I was screaming, “You never spent time with me! You never spent time with my mother!” – that was true. I was looking into my father’s face and really saying that.’

Sage grew up with a very famous father who was in his prime in the movie and film business. He was always proud of his father but often wondered if he could live up to him. His mother always encouraged him and reminded him that he just had to give it his best and that would always be good enough. He rejected the Hollywood party life that many celeb kids fall into, and instead preferred watching zombie films and laying low. He referred to himself as a hermit.

Sylvester, who is now 66, was at the Comic Con film convention in San Diego yesterday. His publicist says he is ‘devastated’ and ‘grief-stricken’ over the death of his son. His publicist said in a statement,

“His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha. He was a very talented and wonderful young man. His loss will be felt forever.”
