Sad news today as it has been released that Kyle Glover, Usher’s Stepson has been declared dead after a jet ski accident.
Kyle is the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster. He was with a friend having summer fun floating on inner tubes on Georgia’s Lake Lanier. A passing jet ski apparently ran them over. He was unresponsive when he was removed from the water and both of the teens were air lifted to Children’s Healthcare at Egelston Hospital in Atlanta. Glover’s friend is in critical condition.
Kyle has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the hospital on Friday and it has been determined he is brain dead. The jet ski driver has been in contact with the Department of Natural Resources (Wildlife Resources Division) who will recreate the accident to help determine what happened using special computer programs. Alcohol has been ruled out as a factor.
Despite a nasty divorce and custody battle, Usher chartered a plane for Tameka to rush to her sons side, as she was out of town at the time Usher himself has also joined his estranged wife at the hospital.
It has not been yet decided if they will take Kyle off of life support. An outpouring of celebrity and fan support can be found on social media sites, such as Twitter where the like so Fantasia, Russell Simmons and more expressed their prayers and love for the family.
“Everyone PLEASE pray for Usher and Tameka’s son! This is the time they really need your prayers,” singer Fantasia tweeted Saturday.
“Praying that Usher and Tameka’s son is ok…” Russell Simmons added.
We certainly are very saddened by this situation. I am praying for Kyle Glover, Usher, Tameka and the family.

UPDATE: Kyle Glove has died. Soon after being taken off of life support his mother, Tameka, tweeted the above picture and asked people to pray for her son. TMZ is reporting that Tameka struggled with the decision to take her son off of life support, but insurance was running out and his injuries were too substantial to overcome. Kyle sadly passed away shortly after he was removed from the life support. Tameka and Usher are devastated. So sad. We are keeping them in our thoughts and prayers.
