Stephanie Rice’s bikini photo was no doubt hot, so it is not surprising that there is now a copycat craze with people posting their own photos of themselves rockin’ the “tomb radier” bikini.
The Australian Olympic swimmer may have her copy cats, but she has her haters too. Apparently not everyone enjoyed Miss Rice’s swimsuit photo! Some think that the bikin was too revealing and is disgraceful to Australia.
One fan tweeted: ‘Stephanie Rice posting a photo of herself in swimwear has brought disgrace to the Australian swim team and she should be dropped.’
But Ellie Gonsalves, the bikini designer who gifted Stephanie the swimsuit for her birthday, is laughing all the way to the bank. They are reporting that the sales of the bathing suit have sky rocketed.
“We’ve had inquires from all over – the US, Singapore. We’ve sold an extra 60 since the photo ran and sales of other swimwear has also gone up. Yes, we are preparing a special package of things to send (Rice) after the Olympics to say thank you.”
The tomb radier bikini is hot, and I dont care if she is an Olympic swimmer, she looks amazing and should be allowed to tweet pictures of herself in a cute bathing suit with out getting so much negative response. haters gonna hate though, not much you can do about that.
Being this is actually on of the tamer incidents she is famous for, I am willing to bet this is just continued backlash from people who are still upset over her 2008 incident of posting a pic in a skin tight police costume. Again, she looks hot. Pictures sure get people all worked up.
But if there is anything to be upset with Rice for, it is her 2010 incident when she ‘suck on that f@####’ after Australia beat South Africa in a Rugby Union match. She did apologize, but you can’t really take back words like that.
