Corey Cogdell: Mitchell Unrein’s Girlfriend a Good Shot (Photos)

Meet Corey Cogdell, one of the spectacular members of the U.S Olympic sharpshooting team. You definitely don’t want to mess with her. She has an excellent aim and a very muscular NFL boyfriend.

Don’t be fooled by Corey’s sweet smile and baby blue eyes. This girl is as tough as any guy and considering she knows her way with a rifle, you better watch your step. But between you and me, I hear she is quite a kind, loving girl with a great sense of humor. Perhaps she is just what the doctor prescribed to you, my male readers, but sadly for you Ms. Cogdell is off the market. Her boyfriend is Mitchell Unrein the defensive tackle #96 with the Denver Broncos.

Just because she is not single doesn’t mean we are not interested in knowing more about her, so… we can start by telling you that Corey Cogdell was born on September 2, 1986 in Palmer, Alaska. She was raised in Eagle River and was home schooled. She is the youngest child in her family.

Shooting came to her thanks her father Dick Cogdell and since a very early age. She was three to be exact when she fired off her first rounds and as she got older she joined the 4-H program in her hometown.

After getting her high school diploma in 2005, she joined the US Olympic Team in 2006. By the following year she already won her first gold medal at the 2007 Spring Selection and two bronze medals at the National Championships and at the world cup in Korea.

In 2008 Corey was the only U.S. woman on the trapshooting team at the Olympic Games where she took the bronze medal home. That same year she came in first at the U.S Olympic team trials for shooting.

When Cogdell is not excelling at her shooting skills, she is cooking or getting grease over her pretty face. Why? Well, because she loves cars, Mustangs and Jeeps mostly but she likes to rebuild all kind of cars. I should mention that she is an accomplished, skier, basketball player and rock climber.
