Yeehaw!! Matthew McConaughey and his long time girlfriend, mother of his children and stunning beauty Camila Alves tied the knot in a private, yet beautiful wedding at the sexy actor’s home in Austin, Texas. While Matthew and Camila Alves’s wedding photos have not been officially released except for those below, we are giving you all the details on their special day!!! And personally, I don’t care nearly as much about him as I do about her. Sure he is cute, but she is has all the right stuff.

Their love story began in 2007 when he fell madly for the Brazilian model/ TV presenter and designer and as you can imagine she felt the same way. They have been together ever since. Camilla gave birth to the couple’s birth child Levy Alves McConaughey on July 7, 2008 and soon little Levy became the big brother of his baby sister Vida Alves Mcconaghey born on January 3, 2010.
Matthew popped the big question to Camila last Christmas day. We all remember seeing that adorable picture just minutes after she said “Yes”. Aww!
At the moment of their romantic engagement, we were told no wedding date had been set which is common among celebrities and understandable. Who would want tons of paparazzi bothering them constantly about it or worse, the noisy choppers showing up at their wedding making it impossible to hear their own voice. That’s what happened at Madonna and Sean Penn’s wedding. Lesson learned.
So the McConaughney / Camila Alves wedding took place on Saturday June 9, 2012 at their beautiful home in Austin, Texas. The newlyweds exchanged vows surrounded by their beautiful families and closest friends that included a few celebrities like Reese Whiterspoon (who is Matthew’s co-star in his new film Mud, based on the Mark Twain novel, The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn).
