The Miss Universe Australia 2012 competition has a winner after thirty three gorgeous models in swimsuits squared off, going tooth to tooth and nail to nail in one of the most exciting finishes every in a beauty pageant. Renae Ayris is the winner after the dust settled and the lights went down, setting off a raucous celebration in her hometown of Perth.

She replaces Scherri-Lee Biggs of Perth, Australia, last year’s winner from way way out on the forgotten west coast across arid deserts and parched outback lands so this makes two in a row from the distant city. She was just 21 years old when she won the Miss Australia competition in 2011. This year’s event occurred at the Sofitel’s Grand Ballroom in Melbourne on southeast coast where the normal people live.

The bookies had Renae Ayris of Connolly, Australia as the favorite with Melinda Kemp of Sydney a definite possibility as the betters’ runner-up, and you can’t forget about Queensland’s Madeline Taylor who was the third speculative pony in this show. As usual the handicappers got it all right, at least the winner. Amy Fromm was the runner up in second place, while Lucy Tuttiett of Queensland was third and Julia Perrott-Clarke of Victoria was in fourth.

Biography: Renae Ayris is a dancer and amateur photographer from Perth who is already making a name for herself in the fashion world. She has appeared on the cover of Zest magazine in skimpy workout clothing (see below), modeled for swimsuit photos and lingerie pics, and appeared in standard women’s attire. She looks just as good in a formal dinner gown as she does in a hot bikini.

As for her bodily assets, Miss Ayris’ measurements are well documented as an upcoming model. She is 36-23-35 according to her modeling profile, while standing 5’9″ tall in a size 8 show.
