Wedding bells are in the air so time for one of our NBA point guards to get hitched. And he is just a baby too, marrying his college sweetheart Whitney Wonnacott. Meet Jimmer Fredette’s wife in waiting, his girlfriend and soon to be lifelong companion.

He of course is the former point guard for the BYU Cougars, graduating in 2011. He is originally from Glens Falls, New York where he was a high school star. Now he plays for the Sacramento Kings, but you know all that already. Let’s get to the important stuff and discuss his girlfriend and future wife, Whitney Wonnacott who is absolutely gorgeous and will look even more stunning in a chaste white wedding dress.

She is marrying her husband on Friday, June 1st, 2012. I don’t know who gets married on a Friday, but as a basketball WAG you have to work around your man’s schedule. That’s just the way it goes, so maybe he has a pickup game on Saturday. Maybe that’s the way Mormons do things. They are getting married officially in the Mormon LDS Temple in Denver, Colorado, which probably means they haven’t had sex yet. Still she is a cougar, so you can’t take that away from a BYU girl. Biography: Whitney Wonnacott is a former cheerleader for BYU which is how she met her bally boyfriend. She is originally from Colorado, so the couple is returning there for her big marriage kick-off so her entire family can attend. Awesome way to do things. I like it when the WAGs are pulling the strings in a relationship. It’s not normally the way things go but it shows the couple have potential to last a while which is why she is going all in by changing her name to Whitney Fredette. Heck, they are Mormon so they will last an eternity and beyond the grave if I understand the faith properly.

They have known each other for a long time and officially got engaged back in August 2011 just as they were both graduating from college. Good job. And yes, they really do look goofy together as you can see in the pictures, but it is a we-are-totally-in-love-and-do-not-care kind of goofy. That makes them a genuine couple, sort of like regular people except for the fact that Whitney is a hot cheerleader and he is a sports star.
