This story will get our readers upset because it reveals the dark side of humanity and shows us that sometimes our past lives cannot be overcome. Meet Claire Warrener, the brave woman who put her father away in a British prison but took her own life before seeing justice served. He stole her childhood and her dignity from the time she was just 11 years old.

His name is Michael Warrener and today he sits rotting in jail where he will spend a good portion of the rest of his life. He began assaulting his daughter by climbing into bed with her after his girlfriend left him alone one night. The assaults became more and more frequent as she began growing into a woman, to the point he was doing her three to four times each week.
Claire Warrener finally stepped forward, confronting her father through her sworn testimony in a tense British courtroom. At the same time he was convicted of molesting two other children so there is no knowing how many other victims she saved with her bravery. But all the attention, and the past came at a terrible price. She took her own life in December 2011, unable to face the demons which continually tortured her. Biography: Claire Warrener was born January 16th, 1988, so she would have turned 24 years old this year. She lived in the city of Sunderland in England with her father where she attended the Farrington Community high school. Her father had divorced her mother Elaine Warrener but we do not know how she ended up living with this beast.
When women have been victimized by those who are suppose to protect them, it is often difficult to find love in a true lasting relationship. Let us all remember Claire Warrener for her bravery locking up this man but let us hope the next girl is able to face her difficult past without following in her footsteps.
