Who won DWTS?! Donald Driver Update!
Well, all the songs are sung and the perfect 30 scores recorded on Dancing with the Stars. Three couples were left on the dance floor going into the grand finale, and the judges liked all of them almost equally. It was left up to the voters who cast their votes in the millions via telephone calls and text messages. So is it William Levy & Cheryl Burke, Katherine Jenkins & Mark Ballas, or Donald Driver & Peta? And the winner of DWTS 2012 is . . .
… Donald Driver. Oops, we sure got that one wrong. What follows is our original article for which we admittedly blew the predictions!

Bookmark this thread and we’ll tell you who actually won American Idol just as soon as the votes are known on the east coast. Meanwhile, we can make an intelligent prediction based on the internet buzz that is out there.
Our first buzz indicator is the number of YouTube videos watched for the couples in the final week. That is an indicator of the dances people liked the best, and presumably will correlate with the votes cast.
Donald Driver has approximately 100,000 views of videos posted in the last week on YouTube.
William Levy has about 400,000 views of videos posted in the same timeframe.
Katherine Jenkins has 500,000 views of YouTube videos posted in the last week.
Based on this data we can easily eliminate Donald Driver & Peta from the competition. He will not by the Dancing with the Stars winner this year. The viewers are far more interested in William Levy and Katherine Jenkins. One of them will win DWTS 2012 on Tuesday.
Our second indicator is the number of Google mentions for each persons name. This is a less accurate measure of a person’s popularity on the show, but it does capture the person who websites, forums, and blogs are the most interested in talking about.
Donald Driver has 2.8 million webpages that mention his name.
William Levy has 10.6 million webpages generating buzz about him.
Katherine Jenkins has 8.0 million webpages that talk about her and Mark Ballas.
So my prediction is that this will be a very close vote between William Levy and Katherine Jenkins. We can rule out Donald Driver already, and predict that America’s voting will make this a razor thin contest that may even by decided by the judge’s votes which practically never happens on the show.
One thing working in William Levy is that he is a guy and he is dancing with Cheryl Burke. Cheryl has quite a following, and has won the competition twice already. And on only one occasion has a woman won the competition before. Because of these factors, I’m going to go out on a limb and predict that William Levy & Cheryl Burke win DWTS and will be crowed champions on Tuesday night.
By the way, the finals show will air on ABC at 8pm.

I think it stinks that donal and peta won. It really should have been maria and derek in finals instead of him and they should have won. But since they werent there, katherine and mark should have won. They were far more superior dancers than the winners. There have been other questionable winners- emmitt smith, donny osmond- they shouldnt have won either. I hope next season the right person wins.
