Nothing ever good comes of a wild party thrown by raucous athletes after winning a big game, and we learn today that cricket is no exception despite its reputation as a gentleman’s game. Just ask Zoe Khan (photos below), the American woman who was allegedly sexually assaulted in India during a team party. Luke Pomersbach’s accuser is not backing down from her claims, nor is her fiance, nor are his many supporters including his hot girlfriend.

Luke was arrested for sexually molesting Miss Khan at the Maurya Sheraton Hotel after his cricket team won a match in India. The game occurred between two teams in the Indian Premier League, although he is originally from New Zealand. He plays for Bangalore, and the match occurred against Delhi on May 17th. He was granted bail but will be soon back in court to face the music.
He denies any unwanted contact occurred, telling a local newspaper “I am shocked to be in this position. I can’t believe this is happening and I’m really disappointed when people make things up.” We can report that she broke down in tears (see video) while testifying at the preliminary court hearing and sounded very believable.
But he has his supporters as well, including the team’s owner Sidhartha Mallya who attacked her via Twitter. Mallya has sensationally tweeted a series of messages about his own experience with Zoe that fateful evening, and what he has to say is not flattering. “She [Zoe Khan] was all over me last night and asked for my [BlackBerry number], so if he was her fiance she wasn’t exactly behaving like a future wife.”
Shocking that he would say such a thing. Meanwhile her fiance, Sahil Peerzada (pictured below), who was also allegedly attacked along with Miss Khan reportedly required medical treatment at an area hospital. If true, we can be aghast that a powerful male owner is blaming a female victim for a crime perpetrated against her. But if he is right, we can be equally appalled at another woman seeking her 15 minutes of fame at the expense of a star athlete.
And it isn’t as if he needs the sex. Luke Pomersbach’s girlfriend is rumored to be the very blond, gorgeous Rebecca O’Donovan from Perth Australia, a model and recent graduate from broadcasting school now working as a television presenter. You can see her photo with him at a sushi bar below.
You can see Zoe Khan in the video below and picture gallery, but we cannot find anything about her biography. Nobody will know the truth of the incident until all facts come out in a court of law. Until then, we can only hope that she is okay and justice is served well.
