If you’re a fan of soap operas — more specifically One Life to Live, you may have caught an epic event on Monday’s episode. Reality TV star and socialite Kourtney Kardashian made her acting debut on the series playing Kassandra Kavanaugh, a lawyer who finds herself in some legal trouble.
The episode was alluded to on this Sunday’s installment of her show Kourtney & Kim Take New York, where the older Kardashian nervously rehearsed her script and prepared for her debut. Her stint only lasted an episode but within that hour, she got into a fight, got arrested, and got to kiss her hot co-star. All in a days work!
According to this week’s episode of Kourtney & Kim, the producers over at One Life to Live reached out to her for a part, not the other way around. With her lack of experience, Kardashian assumed her role would be a mere cameo. Unfortunately for her, she discovered pages and pages of dialogue. “I’d thought I’d have two lines,” the reality star said. “But my script is so long … I’m not an actress.”
Kardashian had serious doubts in the beginning. Not only was she intimidated by the script, but she also had reservations about kissing her co-star David Fumero. In the episode, the duo are handcuffed to one another after they’re both arrested at a gym. It turns out that Kassandra Kavanaugh is quite the troublemaker who takes everyone around her for a ride.
Kourtney’s following in the footsteps of her younger sister Kim, who’s done her fair share of acting. Kim made her TV debut on the teen drama Beyond the Break back in 2006.
