We know that women get the lion’s share of thankless jobs in the world, while at the same time they are expected to watch daytime soap operas and clean the kitchen while barefoot and pregnant. That is why Twilight star Robert Pattinson’s photoshoot in French Premiere magazine is such a welcome shocker to his female fans everywhere, and I suppose a few gay ones as well who will enjoy the steamy pictures.

The heartthrob posed nude for the magazine with a female model in bed. The sound you hear is women rejoicing everywhere for finally getting a few breadcrumbs thrown their way by one of Hollywood’s leading sex symbols. Yes, ladies (and gentlemen, if you prefer), you can see Robert Robert Pattinson nude for the very first time in this provocative French magazine.

Of course you will need to use your imaginations a little because such photoshoots of male celebrities are never the crass kind that men require in their girly magazines. Men, as you know, have zero imaginations. But you can imagine Robert Pattinson naked by taking away the blanket cover, and exposing himself to your minds’ eye. And it won’t take much imagination because the actor left very little of himself on the table in the steamy pictures.

In the delightful photos, Robert Pattinson is depicted in bed cuddling with a gorgeous female model with a purple blanket barely covering their naughty parts. Their hands are holding each other tenderly while the woman’s leg is laying peacefully on top of his lower half and her breasts are pressed against his chest. He is stretched out in what can best be described as a content posture, gazing at the woman lovingly as she closes her eyes. The image presented to our minds is that the couple just had sex.

Radar Online is calling the steamy photoshoot X-rated but it is not at all. Nevertheless give them credit for for getting our attention. According to the report, “Rob was asked to pose bare chested with a sexy blonde model, who happened to be topless as well. He did his best Blue Steel for the camera as the girl snaked all over his body, nibbling his earlobes, kissing his face and neck and pressing her bare boobs against him, but you could see he was uncomfortable with it.”

“Blue Steel” is an interesting metaphor used by the British tabloid magazine. My urban lexicon dictionary capably informs me that it can mean one of two things. Either Robert Pattinson has a boner, or he is striking modeling poses in front of a mirror. We think they mean the latter (those crazy Brits!), but you can imagine Robert with a Full Monty (how fun to play at British phraseology!) if you really wish.

They report that the pictures are part of the publicity for his upcoming movie “Cosmopolis” and he spent fully 13-hours naked in bed with the model. We find that hard to believe although he does look like has been laying in bed for days. Maybe she fell asleep from boredom and he is holding her hands to check her watch. And maybe that is why another pic shows Robert with his shirt off laying upside down on a couch as if he is passed out. Some guys can only take so much abuse.

Using our best French translator, what Premiere (meaning “First”) itself said about the layout is as follows:
“The new issue of Premiere covers several interesting films and stars at Cannes, starting with Robert Pattinson who discusses at length his career highlight – Twilight, and participates in a photo-shoot inspired by the films of David Cronenberg, who hired him to be the hero (or rather anti-hero) of its movie Cosmopolis.”

We hear that there are even more provocative pictures that will not be printed in the magazine. There is apparently a series of pictures in which the model is seen licking Robert Pattinson’s nipples. Oh my! Don’t bother looking for the nipple pics because you will never find them. Pattinson insisted that the images be cut from the issue and undoubtedly he has burned them already. We’ll, we shall see won’t we?
