Here is the video of Meta World Peace elbowing James Harden in the face during a game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Lakers on April 22nd, 2012. The flagrant foul in the head resulted in the player formerly known as Ron Artest getting kicked out of the game and will soon be suspended. He officially changed his name before the beginning of the NBA season this year, but he has not changed his attitude.

In the video you can see Meta World Peace slam dunking the ball against the Oklahoma City defense. He turns to fist pump in celebration and then gets accidentally brushed on the arm by James Harken. Meta World Peace responds in that instant with a flagrant elbow sent flying right into the jaw of harden.

James Harden lay on the floor for several minutes in obvious pain. Several members of the Oklahoma City squad were incensed with the incident and got into a verbal jawing match with Meta World Peace. Luckily no further blows were landed. Harden eventually returned to the bench and the thug Artest went to the locker room for the rest of the game.

This is not the first ugly basketball incident for Meta World Peace. Ron Artest was involved in the most infamous NBA fight in history. The brawl occurred in a game between the Indiana Pacers and Detroit Pistons on November 19th, 2004. He went into the stands to fight fans, after an altercation with Ben Wallace, which resulted in the longest suspension in NBA history. The incident cost him the entire 86 remaining games of the season that year. You can see that flagrant foul and resulting brawl here.

So the Meta World Peace elbow incident is par for his course. The NBA league office will review the video tape and hand out a healthy suspension for this basketball thug. He may very well miss the rest of the regular season and some of the upcoming playoff games.

So here is the video of Meta World Peace elbowing James Harden in the head. It occurred with about one minute left in the 2nd quarter in a game between the Los Angeles Lakers and Thunder on April 22nd, 2012, with Oklahoma City ahead 48-47.
