Is Patrizio Pigliapoco Cheryl Cole’s boyfriend? That seems to be the latest rumor surrounding the “Girls Aloud” singer. Cole most recently was linked to Dancing With The Stars pro Derek Hough following her split from hubby Ashley Cole after his alleged infidelities. So who is this guy that she is reportedly dating?
21-year-old Pigliapoco is a record producer who lives in Los Angeles. He’s been helping Cole with a comeback in the pop world and they have been spending many late nights together working in the studio.
Earlier this month, Pigliapoco revealed that he would love to ask Cole out on a date but was apprehensive in doing so, saying, “She’s out of my league“. Now, it seems, the two have been joined at the hip. A source revealed to the Daily Star, “They’ve rarely been apart and have genuinely fallen for each other. Cheryl really adores Patrizio – she loves his carefree attitude to working and to life, and can’t wait to see him again.”
Sources claim that Cheryl feels Pigliapoco could be “the one”. Before people think this is moving way too fast, I have always believed in the saying, “when you know, you know”, when it comes to love. Yes, I am a hopeless romantic. So what?
Cole had some rough months following her split from her footballer husband, Ashley Cole, last year. The stress from her divorce took a toll on her, and she became way too thin, to the point that she looked emaciated. It was so sad to see pics of her in this state. She began dating DWTS pro Derek Hough, and she finally looked happy again. In July of 2010, she had contracted malaria after she and Hough had taken a trip to Tanzania. The two split earlier this year.
And what does Pigliapoco have to say about Cole? He told the Daily Star, ‘Everything happened so fast. Four months ago I was on tour with a group as an engineer and now I am spending nights with Cheryl Cole.”
