Backstreet Boys and Florida Georgia Line joined forces for a surprise performance of “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)’ at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. Yes, a genuine surprise appearance, a bit of a rarity in this era where secrets are so often spilled on social media. Fans attending the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas got a double treat on stage as Florida Georgia Line — Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard — joined forces with Backstreet Boy’s full original lineup — A.J. McLean, Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, Kevin Richardson and Howie Dorough.

They gave a crowd pleasing performance of one of their biggest hits, the 1997 classic’“Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).’ Later, BSB performed a few of their iconic hits on their own, “I Want It That Way,” “As Long as You Love Me” and “Larger Than Life” You can see the highlights below.

It’s not the first collaboration, of the two music groups. Backstreet Boys are the featured artists om ”God, Your Mama, And Me,’ which appears on Florida Georgia Line’s critically acclaimed third studio album, ”Dig Your Roots.’ And, earlier this year, FGL performed a cover of ‘Everybody (Backstreet’s Back),’ in Rapid City, South Dakota, as part of their ‘Dig Your Roots’ tour. As Rolling Stone reports, that Tyler Hubbard told the audience that one of his first CDs was Backstreet Boys.

Backstreet Boys are much in the news as they just announced their Las Vegas residency. Premiering next year at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, the show, ‘Larger than Life,’ takes its name from their 1999 smash hit. In a video announcement, Kevin Richardson said, “”We’re going to call the show Larger Than Life, and we’re taking that theme and we’re going to run with it. It’s going be an amazing, energetic, fun party show.” It kicks off next March and runs through July.
