The 33-year-old British singer-songwriter and mother of three has been long rumored to have had some cosmetic enhancement. As plastic surgery shaming has become a virtual champion sport of Internet trolls, she’s been a perennial target. She’s active on Instagram where she frequently posts selfies and the occasional no make up selfies.

In a recent interview with Closer, she acknowledged and responded to the rumors and the bulling. She also opened up on what she has and hasn’t done. She told the magazine, “I’ve had Botox in my frown lines on my forehead and I’ve had some filler in my top lip. I do get comments about my cheeks, but I’ve not had anything done and I haven’t touched my bottom lip.”

She went on to say, “When I was younger it didn’t interest me, but I’ve spent a long time thinking about it and now I’m an age where I feel it’s help – and I want to feel good about myself.”

Having previously admitted getting breast implants a few years ago, she also opened up about possible future procedures and said, “I’d never say never to more surgery but I don’t have anything planned. I’ve done a lot of research into filler and Botox and there’s so many disaster stories out there. You do have to be careful.”

She also reacted to the social media backlash she receive back in 2013 at the Big Reunion as trolls were claiming that her face has changed. And we know how brutal the “changing face” plastic surgery shaming can be. Many a celebrity has been at the brunt, including such A list actresses as Renee Zellweger and Meg Ryan.

She said, ““I had all these nasty comments saying I looked like Pete Burns and that my face had melted.” Continuing, she added, “They were saying I’d had cheek implants, my chin done, my nose, fillers and Botox. If I’d had all that work, I wouldn’t be able to bloody move my face!”

You can see more of the interview here. Now as her words are dissected and re-dissected, no doubt a new round of shaming will begin. It’s always a no-win situation for a woman in public life.
