With a new album, ’25’ that has already become a pop culture phenomena. Even a partial list all the records this album has broken tells us we are watching music history unfold.

In the days after the release of the album, we were left wondering, would Adele tour? Sure she’s given some television performances, and there’s even a Radio City Music Hall concert prerecorded for holiday television viewing, but still, what the world has been wanting — now that, after the four-year-wait the album is here — is a tour.

Enter Adele’s hilarious Instagram video. She starts out, saying, “Hello, it’s me, Adele… God, I can’t even say that anymore!” She starts laughing, since, after all, those are virtually the lyrics of the lead single of the album, ‘Hello,’ that’s currently at the top of the charts all over the world.

And yes, speaking of world, Adele is standing in front of a map, which, along with her important announcement is thus the stuff of more memes. She goes on to make a confession, saying, “I have been bluffing this whole time and I am so relieved to finally tell you that I am, of course coming on tour, and I can’t wait to see all of you there.”

As noted, many records have fallen, including *N’SYNC’s for the first week of sales, set way back in the year 2000 but Adele broke it in just four days. Once the tickets go on sale for the tour, we can rest assured that more records will be broken; just how many nanoseconds will it take to achieve a complete sellout?!
