The 32-year-old country music super star has been stunning the world for several months, starting with her figure hugging mini-dress on stage at the CMT Awards, just a few months after the birth of her first child, Isaiah, with husband, pro hockey player Mike Fisher.

On the cover of Shape magazine she confidently rocks a black tank top and black skinny jeans, revealing the same slim physique as before. Yes, this is post-baby body success and yes, it begs many questions some of which she answers.

Carrie Underwood is among a growing number of celebrities who have embraced a vegan diet and she reveals to Shape magazine one of her diet tips. She says of her day-to-day meal plans, “I’m vegan and I love bread, but recently, I started making dinner a breadless meal. I’ll have a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast, and I’ll make a sandwich on Ezekiel bread for lunch, but in the evening I’ll have protein and vegetables and no bread.” She went on to say, “When I wake up, my belly is flat!”

Well, that’s half of the equation, but Carrie Underwood goes on to spell out her workout routine that enables those impressively toned abs. She said, “”My favorite workout is Tabata, which I can do at home in about a half hour. I’m in love with it! It’s hard, but it really works.”

She went on, elaborating, “I choose seven different exercises, like squats, lunges, or pushups, and do eight rounds of each – 20 seconds on, 20 seconds off for eight rounds. It really revs up my metabolism. When I’m done, I can handle anything.”

Yes, no quick overnight, painless results here! As with any measurable and impressive achievement, it does take work! Some might be daunted by a vegan lifestyle and saying no to bread at dinner and some might give pause over squats and the like, and some just might be inspired by it all and become the next Instagram celebrity with a growing number of followers!
