The age defying 67-year-old Grace Jones has been the hit of the summer with her performances, and now, she took the eyebrow raising performance to Brooklyn.
Yes, she’s not a footnote in history, let’s say. She’s causing some waves in the 2010s. She has has long been a trailblazer, effortlessly crisscrossing the words of fashion, music, performance art and theater for more than 30 years. If anyone thought she was slowing down or in any way losing her edge in the 2010s, well, her recent performances have put that notion aside.
Yes, an icon, known for such 1980s hits such as the suggestive ‘Pull Up to the Bumper’ and ‘Slave to the Rhythm’ and not to mention her indelible fashion images. Well, now there are some more indelible images.
Grace Jones in nothing but the aforementioned tribal body paint along with a hula hoop and performing her 1985 hit ‘Slave to the Rhythm’ as if a mere 30 minutes, not 30 years had gone by since the song was ruling the airwaves and the clubs.
Throughout the summer, Jones has been impressing audiences with her one-of-a-kind performances,. As seen in the photo above, she was a stunner at the British Summer Time in Hyde Park.
