Taylor Swift performed an amazing duet with Alanis Morissette of her iconic hit ‘You Oughta Know in her live 1989 concert. As you’ll see in video and photos right here she also brought out the Dixie Chicks’ Natalie Maines and Ellen DeGeneres…in a tutu. Yes, it was quite a night at the Staples Center!

Once again, on night three of her string of concerts on her 1989 World Tour at the Staples Center in L.A. Taylor Swift has brought out the star power. This time, an unlikely and exciting trio of guests. Social media is a blaze with the photos and the video which you can see below. Yes, another exciting concert captured in fan photos and video along with those of the stars themselves. A celebratory night.

By now we all know, it’s Taylor Swift’s world and we just live in it. So true even for celebrities and yes, even iconic music artists!

Such as the incomparable Alanis Morissette who joined Swift on stage for a duet performance of her signature song, “You Oughta Know” from her 1995 album, “Jagged Little Pill.” Yes, 20 years ago, a true classic!

Swift introduced her with laudatory words, saying, in part, “She defined the music of her decade. She inspired a generation of confessional female singer-songwriters who all of a sudden felt like you could actually say these raw feelings that you had; you could actually sing about your real life, you could put detail to it, you could get really, really made if you wanted to.”

She went on to call “You Oughta Know” “probably inarguably the greatest breakup song of all-time.”

And with that, as you can see in the YouTube video below, the two music artists delivered a killer rendition of that very famous song.

But the night was not yet over. Taylor Swift also invited on stage, another surprise guest, the former frontwoman of The Dixie Chicks, Natalie Maines for a duet performance of the group’s smash hit “Goodbye Earl.”

And not least. Ellen DeGeneres surprised everyone not so much in appearing on stage, but in wearing a silver costume, much like Taylor Swift’s but with a bit more razzle dazzle. This led the pop music superstar to Tweet afterwards, as you can see below, “When @TheEllenShow walks out in a more sparkly outfit than yours and a tutu.” Yes, indeed!
