It’s long been a tradition of Taylor Swift to surprise audiences by inviting fellow music artists to perform with her. And sometimes those surprise performances go instantly viral. It’s as if social media becomes instantaneously saturated with the news and everywhere you look there are pics and video of the moment.

Such was the case with Taylor Swift and Fifth Harmony performing the latter’s international hit ‘Worth It.’

It was a moment made for YouTube video. In days gone by we had Kodak moments, but this was truly an Instagram and YouTube moment, and it’s going to be one of those iconic performance that will be viewed and talked about for a very long time.

As she introduced her guest artists, Taylor Swift told her audience at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California, “Scream louder for them than you’ve screamed for me the entire night.”

Needless to say, the audience complied, as one by one she introduced the full lineup of the girl group which rose to fame on X Factor USA, where they were assembled from five solo contestants; Camila Cabello, Ally Brooke, Normani Hamilton, Dinah-Jane Hansen and Lauren Jauregui.

Not only did Taylor Swift surprise the crowd by bringing out the hugely popular girl group, but she joined them — in both their stylish blue costumes and choreography. Yes, so much so that for all intents became the sixth member of 5H, so it’s not much of an overstatement, to say that they became, at least for a few moments Sixth Harmony and yes, sure enough the hashtag #SixthHarmony started to trend on Twitter.

And, as you can see below, she herself Tweeted: “I want to be in Fifth Harmony.”

The song, ‘Worth It’ is a bona fide hit, and solidifies the group’s place in our current pop music landscape; they’ve come a long way from their X Factor days.
