Ellie Goulding opens up about her vegan diet and her weight loss success, and she reveals in detail the rigorous fitness routine that has toned her physique and given her more body confidence.

The 28-year-old British pop music star reveals both the progress she has made, she opens up about the past insecurities she has felt about her body in an interview that at once is informative and inspiring. Her new found embrace of fitness has not only drawn notice in social media and elsewhere, but landed her a deal with Nike as a brand ambassador. No small feat!

She opens up about her journey to fitness in a new interview with Look Magazine, via The Daily Mail, saying, “Before, I had a flat bum, no boobs and not much shape. I’m way more womanly now. I’m a bit more confident with my body. I put it down to eating amazingly well. Now my body’s different, my face shape is different and my eyes are brighter, too.”

She goes on to reveal she works with fitness trainer Faisal Abdalla of Barry’s Bootcamp. And she’s in good company as other celebrities who embrace the hour-long workout — which alternates intensive work on the mats and the treadmill — include Kim Kardashian, Victoria Beckham and husband David Beckham. And if that grueling hour weren’t enough, she also reveals she runs 25 minutes to get to the gym. Now that’s devotion!

Abdalla is also interviewed and he confirms his famous client’s devotion to the fitness regimen. The Daily Mail reveals that Elle Goulding also works out with Russell Bateman who is the founder of The Skinny B**** Collective also known as the SBC.

While Elle Goulding doesn’t reveal her weight, or details of weight loss or dress size, she does speak about her vegan diet. Having been a vegetarian since 2013, she reveals she’s been vegan now for a year. Her personal chef is the famed plant-based chef Mary Mattern, author of ‘Nom Yourself: Simple Vegan Cooking.’ A typical daily fare, she reveals, consists of the likes of kale juices and appetizing meals such as scrambled tofu or broad bean burgers. She also posts some of her meals on Instagram. In fact, followers are getting quite an education on the plant-based diet and the fitness lifestyle!
