The death of Whitney Houston’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown at age 22 has prompted an outpouring of tributes and condolences on Twitter. The Here is a roundup of what is being said of her untimely passing.
When it was announced that she had entered hospice care in Atlanta the news that broke on a Sunday night was, of course, not a surprise. It was no less sad. The family issued an official statement confirming that the only daughter of the legendary diva Whitney Houston and father, R&B music star Bobbie Brown had passed away nearly seven months after having been found unresponsive face down in a bathtub filled with water in her Roswell, Georgia home. It was eerily just days before the third anniversary that her mother was found dead in similar circumstances.
She had grown up under the glare of media and amidst the whirlwind of celebrity, of course as the daughter of Whitney Houston, but also the granddaughter of famed gospel singer Cissy Houston, and the cousin of the iconic Dionne Warwick.
And in what had become the last years of her life, Bobbi Kristina Brown was quite active in social media . And, as always, it is social media, Twitter in particular, that, as always we find many celebrities paying tribute, expressing condolences and sorrow at her untimely passing. Many knew her personally and others, of course knew or were immeasurably impacted by the life of her late mother.
Here is a roundup of what is being said.
