Jennifer Lawrence turned heads in a skin-tight wet-look dress with a thigh-high split at Comic-Con in San Diego. See the photos of the ‘X Men: Apocalypse’ and ‘The Hunger Games’ and star making quite a splash at the annual convention and easily upstaging everyone around her.
Yes, 24-year-old Oscar-winning actress easily stole the lion’s share of the attention from the cosplay characters and her fellow A listers alike and with such a casual, off-hand manner. As if to say, ah, it’s just a little something I found in the back of my closet when I was in a rush! It’s the spectators who got the rush initially and now the rest of the planet.
She was there to attend the panel for the highly anticipated ‘X Men: Apocalypse’ panel (the video for which you can watch below) alongside the entire cast of the movie, including Hugh Jackman, Michael Fassbender, Sophie Turner, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, Oscar Isaac, Olivia Munn among others. While Comic-Con does not have a red carpet, per se, Jennifer Lawrence handily crafted one for herself as she surprised with a change of costume from the demure white outfit she wore to the panel.
The color of Jennifer Lawrence’s skin-tight dress is debatable; it’s a quasi-metallic blue verging on navy blue. But that it is figure hugging is not in dispute. Jennifer Lawrence has always been outspoken about body and image and has said she frankly does not care what anyone thinks of her physique. She’s demonstrated a brazenly healthy attitude in an industry — and indeed a world — where that’s no small accomplishment.
So we can surmise her self-esteem isn’t hinging one way or another on what the fashionists or the social media denizens have to say about her. But it’s still a gorgeous look, nonetheless! She accentuated it with some killer high heels and the kind of celebrity sunglasses that scream out a huge price tag.
Comic-Con is full of surprises, and it gets bigger and bigger every year, as entire casts of movies, along with directors and producers show up for the panel discussions and the eagerly awaited presentation of trailers that inevitably get leaked online for all of the rest of us.
‘X Men: Apocalypse’ is still along way off — panel video below — but Jennifer Lawrence at Comic-Com was a hit either way! Check out many more pictures below!
