These days the stars and costars of a music video can make all the difference in breaking through the constant roar of entertainment news. Who gets the spotlight these days is often the one who has been most imaginative and unpredictable.

Thus, we have Carly Rae Jepsen sharing screen time with one of the biggest names in Hollywood known for a string of iconic movies including ‘Forrest Gump’ as well as an erstwhile teen pop music sensation eager for a comeback. Her new song, ‘I Really Like You’ is the lead single of her much anticipated third studio album as she returns to the pop music scene after a having made her Broadway debut as the title character of the revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella

And now, back from the fairy tale world and into the realm of dance hits we have a new video. And it’s quite a visual delight as it follows a lip synching Tom Hanks as he navigates through SoHo in Manhattan signing autographs and taking selfies with fans. The EDM dance song itself is as bouncy and upbeat as its title and has an infectious hook, “I really really really really really really like you / And I want you, do you want me, do you want me, too?”

It may indeed become as ubiquitous as her breakthrough hit ‘Call Me Maybe’ which along with becoming an international smash hit, took on yet another life as countless fan made videos popped up and went viral as everyone took on the song from soldiers stationed in Afghanistan to the U.S. Olympic swim team.

The ‘I Really Like You’ music video follows in that vein but as noted, this time, it just happens to be an exceedingly famous A lister who’s doing the lip synching.

It’s full of surprises and the three and a half minutes go by much too quickly. One hopes for at least another four or five minutes of what becomes the concluding dancing in the streets, where, incidentally, Justin Bieber shows up in a cameo.

Well, no need to trudge through descriptors any longer as you can see the full ‘I really Like You’ music video with Tom Hanks and Justin Bieber below!
