Krista Young is a former special ed teacher’s aide in Texas who has been arrested for an alleged improper sexual relationship with a 16-year-old male student. According to police, she admitted to having had sex with the teen on numerous occasions.
The 35-year-old Krista Young (mugshot photo above) is a special education paraprofessional formerly employed at the Purnell Support Center by the Lewisville School District (LSID) in Lewisville, Texas. She is a resident of Little Elm, Texas.
According to WFAA, quoting a Lewisville Police spokesman the department was notified by school officials that an employee was allegedly having “inappropriate conduct with a student.”
The report goes on to quote from court documents in which it is alleged that Krista Young admitted to the police to having had sexual intercourse with the alleged 16-year-old male victim “on several occasions in the last couple of months.” Young said she and the alleged victim met every day after school at his house for an hour during which time no one else was present. Young admitted to having had sex more than 10 times with the teenager and that the improper contact began when they were playing video games.
The alleged victim is described in the documents as “emotionally disabled.”
Krista Young turned herself in for arrest according to the Ft Worth Telegram, and was booked into Denton County jail and remains held on $10,000 bond. The newspaper goes on to report that she is expected to be charged with improper relationship with an educator and student, a felony with a maximum sentence of 20 years.
As for additional details of Krista Young’s bio and background, WFAA notes that the school district fired her the day she was interviewed by the police. She is described as not married and the mother of three children.
