The arrest of the 23-year-old Jamie Lynn France would likely have become international news. But the release of mugshot photo above alongside a DMV photo from years ago has presented an undeniable cautionary tale. It was in 2009 that France was crowned Miss Teen Oregon-World. She is barely recognizable now in the booking photo. Photos from her Facebook account (below) also confirm a radical change in her appearance.

According to Oregon Live quoting the Keizer Police Department, France was one of three persons arrested in a raid by the police of two locales; a motel room and a house.

Erin Wells, 37, was arrested at the home; her two children, ages 4 and 7 were present in the house and placed in the care of a relative after her arrest. Jarrod Wells, 37, was arrested, along with Jamie Lynn France, in the raid of a motel room. A variety of drugs were found in both locales including methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and hallucinogenic mushrooms.

All three were booked into booked into the Marion County Correctional Facility on various charges, as reported by the Keizer Times.

Jamie Lynn France was charged with possession of meth, heroin and a controlled substance. According to jail records the newspaper cites, she appears to have been released from custody.

The police released the photos with the detailed statement on the arrest, noting in part that they wanted to “take this opportunity to caution against the use of illegal controlled substances because of the terrible long-term affects to the user, their families and our communities…We have included photographs taken both before as well as following the abuse of controlled substances for each of the people arrested in this case.”
