The 29-year-old Paige E. Mostella (mugshot photo above; more images below) is a former special education teacher at Woodlan Jr/Sr High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

According to NewsChannel 15 in Ft. Wayne, quoting from the probable cause affidavit as well as from court documents, the Allen County Sheriff’s Department– with help from the Indiana State Police — first began their investigation of the alleged incidents in February of this year.

The alleged victim, now 19 years old, was undergoing a polygraph test as fulfillment of requirements for juvenile probation . He told the police officer who was administering the test that he had had a sexual relationship with a teacher at Woodlan Jr/Sr High School. The affidavit goes on to note that the alleged victim described these encounters with Mostella — which all took place at her office at the school — and said that the second one involved sexual intercourse; the first encounter was a “play fight” that turned sexual, but did not result in intercourse but he said that she did allow him to rub up against her.

He alleged that the third encounter was the second time he and that Mostella had intercourse. He said that it took place right before a track meet. He said that he asked her to have sex with him and explained that the reason for asking was that “it would improve his throwing ability during the track meet.” He also said that he used his jacket to cover the window of the office while they had sex.

The alleged victim also claimed that the teacher gave him gifts for his 18th birthday; clothing and shoes. He alleged that the sexual relationship continued through the fall and that Mostella had said to him that she could lose her job because of the relationship, and that it was wrong.

Police arrested Mostella and she was and charged with two felony counts of child seduction.

As for Paige E. Mostella’s bio and professional background, NewsChannel 15 reports that is no longer employed by East Allen County Schools — where she was also an assistant track coach — but that it is unknown if she resigned or was fired. The station also reports that according to the Indiana Department of Education she still has a valid teaching license. Official documents indicate that she is married. The station also received a written statement from the East Allen County Schools which said in part that they had “fully cooperated with law enforcement officials during the investigation” and “are not at liberty to discuss any further details.”
