Megan Wollover is Tracy Morgan’s longtime girlfriend and now his fiance. The actress and model, who is also the mother of the couple’s baby daughter, finds herself in the news as news breaks of the six-vehicle accident which left the former ’30 Rock’ star among those who were critically injured.
The news broke in the early hours of Saturday morning that the limo bus which was traveling from Delaware with Tracy Morgan and several other passengers was struck by an 18-wheel truck on the New Jersey Turnpike. Kevin Roper, the driver of the truck, has since turned himself in for arrest and faces multiple charges including death by auto.
While the world waits for updates, we only know thus far that he is in critical condition and that family members are at his side. He was one of several injured — including his assistant, Jeffrey Millea and a fellow comedian Ardie Fuqua — and tragically there was also a fatality, Morgan’s friend and fellow comedian James ‘Jimmy Mack’ McNair. A few family members have spoken out, including the mother of Megan Wollover who told New York Daily News. “I couldn’t believe it. I was just hoping and praying that my daughter and the baby weren’t in the car.” She went on to say, “I’m relieved for her and my granddaughter,’ she said. ‘But (Morgan) is the foundation. I love him dearly, and I just hope he gets through this.”
Prior to meeting the actor, Megan Wollover’s biography, was, like that of many rising models and actresses dominated by a number of screen credits, including the movie ‘Unholy Roller.’ The Trenton, Nеw Jersey native got her start at a model, and as such appeared in numerous magazines including FHM, Maxim, Jet аnd Ebony.
As noted, she the comedian and actor’s longtime girlfriend and as such has been frequently seen at his side in recent years walking the red carpet. She gave birth to the couple’s child, a daughter, Maven Sonae Morgan, last July. She is active on Twitter
