Jeremiah Brent is Nate Berkus’ husband. The celebrity designer and host of ‘American Dream Builders’ and the interior designer who have graced the red carpet as an attractive and devoted couple for months have tied the knot.
The 42-year-old Nate Berkus and the 29-year-old Jeremiah Brent had been engaged for a year. They were wed in grand style at the iconic New York Public Library at Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street and making history along the way as the first same-sex couple to get married at the quintessential Manhattan landmark.
According to People, the more than 200 attendees included Oprah Winfrey, Rachel Ray, Katie Lee, Busy Philipps and Elizabeth Hendrickson among others. The officiant was Sheri Salata, the president of Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network and Harpo Productions. This is certainly no surprise as the media mogul was so instrumental to his rise to success, notably through his eponymous television program.
As for the details of the Jeremiah Brent biography even prior to dating and ultimately marrying Nate Berkus, the Modesto, California native was already making a name for himself in the design world. He is as an up-and-coming self-taught interior and furniture designer with his own firm in Los Angeles where he is currently based.
He was also, at one time, the personal assistant to celebrity stylist Rachael Zoe and as such he was featured on Bravo on the Rachael Zoe Project. As the months and years go by, we can reasonably expect to see and hear more about him.
