Brittany Phillips is a high school teacher in North Carolina who has been arrested and charged for allegedly having had sex with a student in a closet in the school as well as at her apartment. The student has a video which shows an alleged sex act.

At the time of the alleged incidents, the 25-year-old Brittany Marie Phillips (mugshot photo above), variously known as Brittany Phillips was a teacher of exceptional children at Lexington Senior High in Lexington, North Carolina. She is a a resident of High Point, NC. Both cities are in the Winston-Salem metro area.

During the course of the police investigation she was suspended from her job and she was arrested in March and was charged with a felony. She was released upon posting $30,000 bond.

Now according to new details have been made public in the case.

Quoting from an official police affidavit, the newspaper goes on to note that the alleged victim told investigators the first sexual encounter with Phillips took place at the school in a closet and that subsequently, there were other incidents at Phillips’ home. The affidavit notes that the alleged victim “had a video of Phillips performing (a sex act) on him” which he said he said was taken at Phillips’ apartment. He showed it to the investigator who said in his affidavit that “the video does appear to show Phillips’ face.”

The student also told the investigator he had had called and texted Phillips multiple times with his cell phone and vice versa as that was how they arranged their get togethers at her residence. He also said he had deleted “a lot” of the records. As a part of the investigation, police obtained a search warrant to seize both cell phones.

Additional details of Brittany Marie Phillips’ bio and background have not been made public other than that she was in her first year of teaching with Lexington City Schools and was suspended without pay, according to the superintendent, and is in the process of being terminated from her job.
