Colin Egglesfield was arrested in Tempe, Arizona and charged with criminal damage and disorderly conduct. See the mugshot photo of the former ‘The Client List’ star and find out more about what led to his arrest at the Tempe Festival of the Arts.
The arrest of the 41-year-old actor has made news around the world. As typical, the Colin Egglesfield booking photo above has become yet another in an all-too long series of celebrity mug shots that hit the Internet and go viral.
But his arrest was in an out-of-the way place and it is being reported now a few days after the fact. According to a local Tempe, Arizona newspaper East Valley Tribune quoting Tempe Police Department police report, a police officer observed Egglesfield in the early morning hours in “knocking over metal stanchions surrounding artwork.” He was also seen knocking a table over in a vendor’s tent. The newspaper further quotes from the report noting that the damage he caused was to “paperwork, plastic holders and a large sign.”
He was arrested, charged with one count of criminal damage and one count of disorderly conduct, and and released on $1,000 bond.
US Weekly quotes an unnamed source who says, it “wasn’t a rampage or anything like that. Something went missing from his group and he was looking for it.” The source is further quoted as saying that he was “very upset.”
A day before his arrest, Colin Egglesfield Tweeted an Instagram photo of himself and his father and brother, noting that he was in Arizona playing golf.
He has made no comments on social media or elsewhere on his arrest as faces some unexpected notoriety. He is best known for his appearances as a cast member of several television series including CW’s Melrose Place, and later TNT’s ‘Rizzoli & Isles’ and most recently the aforementioned ‘The Client’s List’ which saw him in a costarring role with Jennifer Love Hewitt.
