Kesha has walked the red carpet for the first time since leaving rehab for an eating disorder and changing her name from Ke$ha back to Kesha. As pictures and video reveal she was dazzling in a sheer black gown, looking radiant and healthy.

After announcing her return on Twitter — and famously changing her Twitter handle from @keshasuxx to @KeshaRose — Kesha now made an appearance in the real world. The occasion was, fittingly a charitable one, the Humane Society gala in Beverly Hills, CA, celebrating the organization’s the 60th anniversary. The 27-year-old Kesha was one of numerous celebrities to walk the red carpet, but as the video below reveals, her presence was electrifying, as photographers were jockeying to get the best shots. The singer looked confident as she smiled.

The gown itself was lovely; sheer, yes, but not scandalous. In other words, there are not thousands of “no underwear” or “gone commando” headlines. No, this time around, it was ‘Real Housewife Of Miami’ star Joanna Krupa getting those headlines for bearing her breasts in a dress that was indeed too sheet!

But for Kesha Rose, no such wardrobe malfunction, as the gown was flattering and had along, princess-like train. It was very much an award night worthy dress, yes, even fitting for the Oscars.

The last time she was seen on the red carpet was at the American Music Awards, and she was unsmiling and looking gaunt and thin. It was but a few weeks alter that she issued a written statement, saying she was “seeking treatment for my eating disorder…to learn to love myself again, exactly as I am.” She then spent more than two months at Timberline Knolls, near Chicago — a treatment center specializing in eating disorders — where Demi Lovato also sought treatment back in 2010. Her mother, songwriter Pebe Sebert, joined her in rehab, also releasing a statement.

As People magazine reports, though she has maintained a low profile she is, according to sources, eliminating “negative people and influences in her life” and surrounding herself “only supportive and loving friends and family.”

Kesha did not give any revelatory red carpet interviews that night, but her physical presence spoke on her behalf. You can see many more pictures of Kesha on the red carpet here and, as noted, the video is below!
