Carrie Miller is a teacher in Nebraska who has been arrested and charged with sexual assault of a 15-year-old male student. She is alleged to have had 50-60 sexual encounters with the student.
The 24-year-old Carrie Miller (mug shot photo above; more photos below) is a Spanish teacher at Johnson County Central High School in Tecumseh, Nebraska.
According to 1010now.com quoting the Johnson County Attorney the alleged sexual assault happened sometime during the fall of 2012, however authorities — the Nebraska State Patrol and Johnson County Sheriff’s Office — did not become aware of it until January 2014 at which time they conducted an investigation.
Carrie Miller surrendered to authorities and was arrested and charged with sexual assault and enticement by electronic communication. She was arraigned in Johnson County Court. 1010now.com quotes court documents which indicate that in the fall of 2012 Miller is alleged to have had approximately 50-60 sexual encounters with the 15-year-old students.
Miller and the student allegedly exchanged text messages routinely and there was also an exchange of graphic photos as well as inappropriate conversations.
It is further alleged that several sexual encounters took place outside of Johnson County, in Nemaha County at an “abandoned farmstead.” For this reason Miller faces additional charges in Nemaha County.
As for the Carrie Miller biography details all that has been reported thus far in media is that she got married in September 2011 to a Lincoln, Nebraska and remained married during the time that sexual assault of the student is alleged to have taken place. The couple filed for divorce in February 2013. Her profile page on the Johnson County Central Public School’s official Web site — jccentral.org — reveals only a photo and an email address, but no information on her teaching credentials or work history.
The story is developing. More pictures of Carrie Miller are below. Check back for additional updates.
