The wife of the ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ is pregnant, the happy couple announced earlier this week. Jenna Dewan-Tatum, married to hunky movie star Channing Tatum is expecting the couple’s first child.
Both Jenna Dewam and her husband’s representatives confirmed the news stating that the couple ”are pleased to announce that they are expecting the birth of their first child next year,” according to People.
After having a super successful year, Channing Tatum can add the title of Daddy to his collection, earlier this year he was named the ‘Sexiest Man Alive of 2012′ by People Magazine and told them that the first number that comes to mind as far as kids go is three, but what matters to him is that they’re healthy, and who doesn’t want that!
The two met on the set of ‘Step Up’ in 2006 and married three years later. According to some reports the pregnancy came as a total surprise, but they had both been hinting that it was something that would be welcomed.
Jenna had stated that she would like to have kids, but there were no immediate plans and Channing made the comment about the number of kids he would like.
Channing Tatum created quite the stir earlier this year playing a male stripper in ‘Magic Mike’ and revisiting a period of his earlier life. The movie was a big hit with the ladies since it not only included Tatum, but other hunky actors, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello and Matthew Maconaughey.
He also starred in ’21 Jump Street’ and the romantic drama ‘The Vow’. His wife Jenna is a dancer turned actress and has done mostly background work for popular bands and solo artists like Christina Aguilara, N Sync, Toni Braxton and Celine Dion.
Now the question is, what will they name their child?
